Dimitri Joseph Moise (They/he) is an award winning HIV activist, award-winning editor, and Deputy Director of Patient Advocacy at Vot-ER (pronounced "vote-ER"), a nonpartisan organization exploring the intersections between healthcare and democracy. In 2018, Dimitri disclosed their HIV status and has since become a national advocate whose story has brought awareness to millions, both nationally and internationally. Their work in the HIV community has been dedicated to ending the epidemic and speaking truth to power as the virus continues to affect Black and other communities of Color at disproportionate rates. Dimitri is also the 2023 Remember the Ribbon Award honoree, presented by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS & Playbill magazine.Dimitri has been seen on stage and on screen in POSE, The Last O.G. on TBS, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Book of Mormon, and Titanique (2023 Lucille Lortel Winner, Outstanding Musical).
