I managed the development programs of MCE5 products portfolio. My goal was to bring MCE-5 highly innovative products to the expected level of maturity through agile and proactive management and by solving daily challenges in a Start Up environment.My main programs were:o VCRi (Variable Compression Ratio) engine demonstration program for DFM (Dong Fong Motor). • Tripartite program: DFM (Customer) / AVL (Engineering) / MCE5 (supplier of innovative technology). • 14 prototype engines co-developed, produced, assembled and validated for the needs of the program. • Multicultural environment and complex Customer / partner / suppliers management and communication.o ARTC technology Development (Autonomous Length Variable Connecting Rod). • ARTC maturity development from TRL1 to TRL4 by defining functional needs, translating functional needs into technical specifications, defining and managing project and product risks, developing and managing components and system validation plan.o Product offer creation to improve performances of rally-raid racing buggies • Market analysis, functional needs and product definition. • Management of the product development project (specifications, risks, planning, budget, follow-up of deliverables,…).

I managed a portfolio of several advanced engineering projects aiming at proposing feature improvements and product cost reduction for the coming industrialisation projects. Projects are covering the heavy duty and medium duty powertrain ranges of the Volvo group.o Definition of projects objectives in close cooperation with product planning and range management departments.o Allocation of projects budgets according to projects objectives.o Support of project manager in their everyday project management.o Follow up projects time plan, spending and deliveries through dedicated program meetings.o Report projects status to the program steering committee.

I managed the development of several heavy duty engine technologies, through different projects, aiming at providing feature improvement onto future Volvo engine products. My focuses are on new and unknown technologies with the ambition to bring the technologies up to the right level of maturity in order for future industrialisation projects to take them on board.My main activities in each project are to develop the project charter, to plan project activities including project scope definition, project budget, project resources and project schedule, to execute the project by leading the project team, to monitor the project progress and report the project status to the steering committees, and finally to close the project by handing over mature technologies to industrialization projects.The main projects I am/was in charge of were:o Waste Heat Recovery system, based on Rankine cycle principle (Part of Renault Trucks TIGRE project funded by ADEM (French government)) - Jan 2012 -> Dec 2014o Heavy duty engine with dual stage turbocharger and Miller cycle technologies (Part of TIGRE project) - Jan 2012 -> Dec 2014o Medium duty off road and long term platform development - Jan 2012 -> Dec 2014o Heavy duty engine concept based on “Extended SCR” technology and several friction reduction technologies - Jan 2012 -> Dec 2014o New generation Volvo heavy duty AMT (Automated Manuel Transmission) - from June 2015
