We must learn to sail in high winds.” Aristotle OnassisI have graduated from the MSc in Maritime Economics & Logistics in Erasmus University Rotterdam. In 2018, I was awarded a scholarship by Greek Shipowners’ Social Welfare Company for the academic year of 2018 – 2019. The main drivers to win the aforementioned scholarship were my very good performance in my Bachelor Degree, my hard-working and ambitious mentality to develop my career path and obviously my passion for the shipping industry, which comes from my family and my origin, Greece, a maritime nation by tradition.In the end of my Bachelor Degree, I completed an internship in a Marine Insurance Broker Company, which was a key experience to learn things for the particular sector and develop some analytical skills, like teamwork and creativity.I love watching football and analyzing the tactics & the strategies of the clubs. I am also planning to create my own blog, which will contain tactical analysis of selected football matches and strategic & tactical planning for the popular video game Football Manager. I enjoy playing and listening to music and going to the theatre or even being part of a theatre group.I also love meeting new people, exchanging opinions and learning from their experiences.
