Currently, I am a PhD student in Electrical Engineering whose interests lie in machine learning, deep learning and medical imaging. My BS was also in Electrical Engineering with Minors in Math and Computer Science. I am currently under the supervision of my advisor Professor Mark A. Anastasio and my current work revolves around using generative adversarial networks (GANs) for task based quality assessment in medical imaging.I am also a proud member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society - UIUC Alpha Chapter of which I was Executive Vice President for two years as well as the Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) Electrical Engineering Honor Society. Additionally, I have always had a passion to teach with several years experience as a teaching assistant. Most recently, I have been a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Embedded DSP Lab (ECE 420) and created course material for Computational Mathematics for Machine Learning and Imaging (BIOE 485).

Graduate Teaching Assistant - Embedded Dsp Lab (Ece 420)University Of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Aug 2019 - PresentUrbana-Champaign AreaThe course focuses on taking digital signal processing (DSP) concepts presented in earlier courses and applying them to python and android. The course culminates in a student led project where each group creates their own android application for their DSP task of choice. I teach two lab sections and help students if they have any problems while also holding office hours, overseeing projects, grading labs and designing quizzes. I have also helped develop course material for this course. Specifically, I helped create a machine learning lab where students designed and trained their own linear classifiers for handwritten digit classification. The students then had to upload their training weights and model to a pre-prepared android application for real time digit classification. Overseen by Professor Thomas Moon. -
Graduate Teaching Assistant - Computational Mathematics For Machine Learning And Imaging (Bioe 485)University Of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Jun 2021 - Aug 2021Aided Professor Yogatheesan Varatharajah in creating material for his new course BIOE 485. The course focuses on fundamental machine learning, probability theory, linear algebra and optimization concepts with applications in biomedical imaging.Specifically, I created a total of five machine problems (MPs) and three homework assignments. The MPs were designed for students to gain hands on experience with tools such as principal component analysis (PCA), Monte Carlo Integration and gradient descent. On the other hand, the homework assignments were focused on topics such as linear algebra, probability and optimization.

Analog Signal Processing (Ece 210) Honors Course StaffUniversity Of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Jan 2018 - Dec 2018This course offers students the ability to expand their signal processing knowledge by learning how to use MATLAB and python. It briefly introduces digital signal processing.I co-taught this class over two semesters. In my sections I presented the day's assignment and then helped students go through the machine problem (MP) for the week. This was volunteer work. Overseen by Professor Erhan Kudeki.

Computer Systems Engineering (Ece 391) Course StaffUniversity Of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Jan 2018 - Dec 2018This course gives students hands on experience with both the C programming language and x86 assembly by covering the fundamentals of operating systems (OS). The course culminates with the students creating the their own OS.I held office hours and helped students through the machine problems (MPs). Additionally, I graded students' MPs and homework on a weekly basis while also reviewing, proctoring and grading course exams. Overseen by Professor Zbigniew Kalbarczyk.
