Altrincham FC is a big semi Pro club in the South Manchester. The club approached me to work with their u17s and u18s squad as a coach; both teams compete in the North West Youth Alliance. Part of my role is to plan and deliver coaching sessions for the teams and assist the managers on the match day.

Hopwood Hall is a big college in the Greater Manchester Area. We have a football program for players 16-19 years old and the players are divided in 4 teams according to their ability. I am working with all the teams during the week and manage the 2nd team in their games in the North West College League. I plan the training sessions alongside with the Headcoach and provide individual advice to players, so they can achieve their potential. Furthermore, I deal with players’ recruitment, judge players’ potential (whether they are 1st team, 2nd etc) and match analysis after games. The highlights of the season were -our u18s progressing in the National Cup’s semi finals, -winning the Greater Manchester Cup, -first and third team won their leagues respectively and -we also won a European Tournament in Holland.As the College’s Football Development Officer, I focus on working close with the local FA to provide training to coaches and to develop community programs, I apply for grants for the college and develop coaching and referee opportunities for the students. In addition to this, I run disability sessions and I work with our club partners that use our facilities from professional clubs like Rochdale FC academy and Barrow FC first team to local clubs.

I worked as a Lead coach for numerous groups including u7, u8, u9, u10, u11, u12, u13, u14, u17, u18, u21 and senior teams. As the lead coach I was planning and delivering sessions, liaising with parents, mentored volunteers, recruit players and put the players in the right ability group.I also started the u21 team for the club in 2016, which competes in the North West U21 Development League, managing a league title and promotion from the East Division in 2016-2017, while promoting 5players to the first team of the club. Finally with the same group of players we won the Altrincham Senior Cup with an average age of 18 y.o, representing the Club’s reserve team.
