I came to Australia in 2016 as a 12-year-old boy. Since then, through seeing the trials and tribulations that my parents went through, I have learned the value of hard work and dedication to achieving our goals. In the years that I have been here, I have taken any opportunity given to me to further improve my skills and knowledge in many different fields. I have published articles in 2 different newspapers, the most notable one being an article on the biggest Greek newspaper in Melbourne "Neos Kosmos" through a student program. As you probably figured, I am proficient in both Greek and English and have helped with translating work. I have studied Classical and Modern Greek, but also worked in construction as a tradesman, in two different trades, learning them both, as well as helping manage construction sites. I have also been heavily involved in advocacy campaigns for human rights, as well as community campaigns, the biggest one being the "Save the Preston Market" Campaign.I am currently studying Exercise Physiology at Deakin University and I want to pursue Physiotherapy as a masters. I find the field of exercise and sport to be ever expanding in our world with unlimited potential, and I hope to help develop in and leave my mark.
