I received my Diploma (2011), MSc (2014), and PhD (2018) in Computer Science and Technology from the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department of the University of Patras. Worked for 7 years as a researcher at the Computer Technology Institute of Patras, Greece and for the past 5 years as a contractor for IoT and Data Analytics Engineer for private companies. Participated in European Research Projects including WISEBED, SPITFIRE, Organicity, GAIA, GamECAR, SmartWork, Elegant and AC3 and co-authored over 70 scientific publications in areas related to Wireless Sensor Networks, the Internet of Things, and Smart Cities. I was also involved in the foundation of two technological start-ups, Codebender and Sensorflare, for developing an online IDE for programming microcontroller devices and managing IoT devices respectively.From 2019 until 2023 I was also appointed as adjunct faculty in the University of Patras Computer Engineering and Informatics Department teaching the course of Distributed Systems. I am also a certified UAS operator from the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, and a Licensed Amateur Radio Operator from the prefecture of Western Greece (callsign SY3-EHB).
