Research in Theoretical High Energy Physics under the project Holographic Applications of quantum Entanglement “HAPPEN”, The research activities focused on quantum entanglement in QFT and holographic entanglement entropy, black hole thermodynamics, tunneling solutions in QFT, non-linear sigma models and classical string solutions.

I wrote two proposals (in Greek) for research funding in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics. Each of the two proposals was submitted, respectively, under the1. "Support for researchers with an emphasis on young researchers - B cycle" action of the operational programme Human Resources Development, Education and Life-Long Learning, 2014-2020, co-funded by the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESPA) and National Resources of Greece.2. "Post-doctoral researchers support" action of the operational programme Human Resources Development, Education and Life-Long Learning, 2014-2020, implemented by the Greek State Scholarship Foundation (IKY) and co-funded by the European Social Fund - ESF and National Resources of Greece.

This was my gap year from studies. During that time the company decided to open a new experimental homeware department by expanding the Kingston branch. The company's regional manager assigned me the project of managing and coordinating the activities for setting up and opening the new store. Under this capacity• I built and trained a team of 12 associates;• I was communicating with the company planners in a daily basis in order to set the store layout in coordination with them and the store manager;• I was managing in a daily basis the high-volume of deliveries of goods;• We got the store ready for opening within the timeframe we were given without compromising the company standards.This was one of my first experiences within a multicultural work environment where teamwork, effective communication, time management and leadership skills were the key features in order to be able to perform under time pressure and deliver results of the highest quality. The project was a success and although I had an offer to continue with the company as a manager, I declined because I had already taken up an offer to start my PhD studies at King's College London.
