Effectively and efficiently managing the production of the auto body shop producing quality work on time. Assign repair jobs to the technicians while following up on their total work load to ensure that repair standards are maintained and repairs are done on time. Communicating with the parts department to streamline supplemented parts or parts that need to be rushed while repairs are on. Frequently checking the incoming vehicle repair schedule for gaps in repair hours that can affect the total workflow and consequently the monthly/yearly targets. Plan and execute all repair related sublets. Communicate with all technicians through in person short meetings about their performance and their needs related to the shop’s production target and budget. Print and deliver all repair related paperwork, breaking down repair orders by department and assign work to the appropriate technician. Coordinating with the estimating team to make sure that all special customer requests and notes are delivered to the team. Produce and deliver, daily, the due out vehicle list for the detail department. Maintain a delivery list with the Office manager and the CSR’s to ensure timely delivery of the repaired vehicles. Monitor KPIs and discuss improvements / changes with the body shop manager when required.

Highly multitasking, time sensitive and fast paced position with a variety of responsibilities in one of the busiest collision centers in Western Canada. With over forty tasks per day (on average) I am responsible for coordinating the flow of automotive parts to the collision center. Ensure that all parts are charged and linked to the collision management system (Mitchell Estimate & Ultramate, Mitchell Connect) for billing in the accounting system. Updating and correcting the estimates through Mitchel Ultramate. Assist the collision center technicians with acquiring the required and correct parts for the work in process vehicles. Assist the Production Managers for tracking parts coming from Centralized Parts Team or supplemental ordering. Responsible for returning all unused / damaged parts promptly. Determine availability and provide necessary information for out-of-stock parts and secure supply for special and/or emergency orders by the production managers or the estimating team. Verifies receiving and receipting-in of parts shipments. Take ownership of specific individual duties as assigned by supervisor. Data input of invoices, credits, orders, sublets and returns. Stay current on parts returns and credits by frequent audits and reports analysis. Create or update a variety of Excel spreadsheets to ensure results follow up and meeting specific targets / deadlines. Supervising our shipping / receiving team for the proper parts receiving process, RO tagging of parts, bin placement and housekeeping. My position interacts daily with the Production Managers and with various levels of Collision center management and staff.
