I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering University of Ioannina, where I am conducting research under the guidance of Professor Nikos Mamoulis. Additionally, I am a software engineer at the Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS) of the Research and Innovation Centre in Information, Communication and Knowledge Technologies “Athena”. In this role, I am supervised by Senior Researcher Manolis Terrovitis.I hold a B.Sc. in "Informatics and Telecommunications" (2012) and a M.Sc. in "Computing Systems: Software and Hardware (SYS)" (2016) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. My research interests lie in the areas of join operators of complex data types (spatial, spatio-temporal, time-series), real-time analytics, parallel algorithms distributed systems, data anonymization and data mining.
