Dimitris Zannas was born in Thessaloniki and lives in Neochorouda- Thessaloniki, a village which is in the northwest suburbs of the city. He studied Business Management and marketing in Paris- where he graduated in 1986- and has attended numerous courses and seminars concerning his studies.His great passion, though, is and has always been traveling and culture. He’s been participating in his village’s cultural club ever since he was a teenager. He’s been the president and vice- president of the local culture club’s committee and put forth various actions like theatrical performing groups, photography classes, mountaineering group and many more.In 2004, he took over the responsibility of the municipal cultural and youth domains and a year later he employed the European programme “Youth in Action” on a municipal level with great success. This meant that he had the opportunity to travel to various European countries and got to know the culture and customs of each country.The beauty of the Greek nature, the wealth in the Greek culture, his will and passion for what he does are the most important and best reasons why Dimitris has turned his hobby into a profession.
