Was responsible for the department’s main product, E-Invoicing (a cloud service for electronic invoicing) and participated in the design and development of many others, such as E-Statement (able to send more than 1 million/hour statements).

Supporting the company’s main site www.xo.gr and working on a number of other programs and tools. Developed among others a sitemap xml generator, for the almost 3 million urls of our site and was involved with the implementation of other SEO features, as also with the site stats. At the same time, I supervised ongoing projects (adsolutions.xo.gr).

Started as freelancer and later on was persuaded to continue working there as the Lead developer of a small team of 2. Developed the WBS (Web Bulk SMS), a web based application for sending and managing bulk SMS. I also developed a Billing system (TeleStats), a Bulk SMS Gateway API (enabling other software to easily integrate our services), a web based live chat platform for premium numbers (LiveChat), scripted numerous premium SMS services with SmsStudio 2.1, helped the creation of and supported our network, administrated our databases and many existing programs and supervised ongoing projects (BulkEmail, IvrStats).

Was employed as Senior Developer and after half a year was promoted to Lead Developer, taking over the responsibility for all company’s projects under development and those running. I joined the company in a major transition face, where we rewrote from scratch most of the company’s software, to iron deficiencies and keep a competitive edge by using the latest technologies and trend (.net and web).In that respect, redesigned and developed the server software for Bulk & Premium SMS and participated in the training and rewriting of our Envox scripts. While there I also developed the Mobile Couponing, an application for creating, managing, sending and redeeming bar-coded coupons and tickets, through MMS. It was the first of its kind in Cyprus and Greece and among the very first developed world wide.I also developed a BI (Business Intelligence) Reporting & Analysis Software, which among others included a Billing module and an Executive Dashboard. Wrote various other programs, web services and tools for collecting, monitoring and transmitting the Cypriots’ votes for games like the x-Factor and for assisting other televised games. At the same time, enhanced and supported company’s older software, its servers and databases and managed many other projects, including the MediaCenterSMS, TeleAuction and SmsGames (had 2 other developers in my team and the occasional help of 2 Graphic Designers).

Software Developer and Consultant for our company’s two main applications, Merit (Loyalty management and segmentation solution) and BestCrew (Crew management solution). Merit is a web application and most part of the development was in ASP.NET C#, using store procedures written in T-SQL to access the database.On the other hand, BestCrew is a window application and the development was in VB6. Apart from developing small fragments and enhancements, I also developed major modules for both applications. I was also responsible for the work and training of two other developers and took part in a major migration. I was the person responsible for the support and the face of the company for BestCrew and OfficeIntegration (BestCrew’s web part, written in ASP.NET C#).

In the department of the Integra ERP system support and development. Work mostly constituted of customizing our company’s core software (Integra) and communicating with the customers, in terms of support and consulting. We were mainly using Oracle’s set of tools to build forms, reports, libs and triggers, pcAnywhere and WinXP Remote Desktop to remotely access our customers’ PCs and SQL*Plus and Toad to remotely connect and operate in their database servers.

The last 8 months of my Military Service, was transferred to the Greek Pentagon and worked for the Headquarters of the Greek army’s Computers Science Research department (DEPLH). During my time there wrote an Information Security Policy for the General Staff of National Defense and developed an application in Visual C++ for supervising the officers’ services
