Worked in a team for Lightsource Labs, the innovative development subsidiary of Lightsource BP, on a Home Energy Management System at residential level:Areas of focus were:• Designing and developing features for the new HEMS solution with new features and capabilities, Tribe https://www.go-tribe.com/• Working on energy management algorithms, IoE(Internet of Εnergy) layer - design an energy management framework on top of IoT layer• Working on communications protocols for devices such as inverters, EV chargers, and energy meters• Designing, developing and testing the Cloud infrastracture of the IoE(Internet of Εnergy) layer using the AWS cloud platform services• Designing and developing automated tests for IoT framework Ubiworx, using several DevOps technologies and tools (e.g jenkins, docker, ansible)• Developing mostly in Python and Lua, as well as Bash and Javascript• Database management on sql and time series databases• Setting up and maintaining an end-to-end product tester in correlation with IoT• Designed, developed, and maintaining a device emulator application to be used with a User Interface or through API by third party applications for developing and testing purposes.
