★ SummaryThis was my first stint with a multi-national corporation, a huge step for me at the time.Being based in Toulouse, France, I interacted with stakeholders throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East on a daily basis, ensuring their local IT systems were in constant harmony with the Syngenta Global IT infrastructure.Fun times would ensue when Kenyan customs officials would withhold IT equipment sent from Europe, where schemes and intrigue were set in play to send them via Jordan and Ethiopia instead, just to get the local office up and running. One of the many interesting mishaps that tested and sharpened my diplomatic skills, which are of the utmost importance in multi-national corporations as I have since learned.I left the company as I regrettably had an unmanageable personal conflict with a co-worker. ★ SummaryI consider my time with Systematics as my training ground, which bolstered me into the IT industry with a myriad of experiences. Systematics - a service provider with hundreds of clients throughout Greece and the Western Balkan region - provided me with the opportunity to touch upon all sorts of IT setups and interact with (mostly happy) clients of all types and sizes. This was also my first team management experience, which allowed me to improve my skills on task delegation, culture building and collective responsibility.
