Currently, I serve as the Head of the Innovation Department at Thessaloniki Port Authority S.Α., where I lead strategic initiatives to drive innovation and digital transformation within the organization.In my previous role as the Head of Information Systems Development Department - Container Terminal Division, I successfully led the analysis and implementation of cutting-edge Terminal Operating System TOS to optimize container terminal operations. Prior to that, I held positions of increasing responsibility, including Head of Cranes and High Voltage Department, Head of TOS Unit, and Head of Equipment Maintenance and Resource Allocation Department, all within the Container Terminal Division.My expertise lies in leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and drive business growth. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, with a focus on simulation models and optimization algorithms for container terminal operations. My educational background also includes a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.Throughout my career, I have actively participated in national and European research projects and evaluation programs, contributing to the advancement of the industry. I have also delivered lectures and published research papers on various topics related to container terminal operations and management.As a recognized leader in my field, I am a member of professional associations such as the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the Greek Association of Supply Chain Management.
