I am responsible for cyber and key technology risks at the Prosus and Naspers group. Prosus/Naspers is a global consumer internet group and one of the largest technology investors and operators in the world. The group is focused on building businesses in the classifieds, fintech, food delivery and edTech sectors in markets including Europe, India and Brazil (https://www.prosus.com/our-portfolio). With my team, we identify cyber and technology trends, develop programs to manage emerging developments and work with the CTOs and CISOs across the portfolio businesses to build the right capabilities. We work closely with the Group CFO and report our findings to the board of directors.Previously, I worked at Deloitte in Amsterdam and Abu Dhabi and served a great variety of clients. I helped my clients build their cyber strategy and roadmaps, deploy them across their organisations, and manage their technology stacks. I also ran multiple red team exercises, penetration tests, purple teams and other offensive activities. My specialities were red teaming and security in operational technology (OT).Before Deloitte, I was a software engineer and security researcher.I have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, an MBA and a PhD. I'm always up for an interesting conversation, and I have interests in technology, cyber and operations.
