Mining Engineer in the Geotechnical/Backfill Department of Olympias Mine

Currently employed at an geotechnical consultant company mainly focused on:-Reinforced embankments -Foundations-Landslide mitigation-Tunnels-Dams-Geotechnical monitoring

Worked at an engineering consultant company focused on geotechnical, tunnelling and mining issues. The job consists of:- Geotechnical consulting (tunnels, dams, foundations, deep excavations, slope & embankment stability, BoQ's etc.)- Mining solutions (mine planning, support design, geological mapping etc.)- Geotechnical monitoring (roadworks, embakments, slopes, quarries & mines)

Trained at Delfoi-Distomo Mining Company, specialized in underground bauxite mining. During the internship i was assigned to collect data on drill and blast techniques, mine ventilation and other activities and write a paper titled "Underground Bauxite Mining Using the Room and Pillar Method.

Trained at the coal mines of the largest coal mining company in Greece. During the internship i was assigned to collect data on the surface mine design and the diferrence between the use of the continuous and non-continuous surface excavating method. Also, i was familiarized with the use of various excavating equipment as bucket wheel excavators and loading trucks.
