Engaged elementary kids weekly through zoom with my initiative Hour of STEM: - Led a team of fellow ambassadors, developed lesson plans for classrooms, designed & hand-manufactured materials to provide to each student as per COVID guidelines.- Wrote a grant proposal to gain funding support for materials and coordinated with several elementary schools to implement our program.Bringing my city together via annual Expo:- Designed an 80-minute immersive hands-on experience for over 2,000 attendees throughout the evening. - Split into two rooms: a chemistry lab and engineering lab suitable for kindergarteners through adults.
