Final year research project : Characterization of Genome-wide Chromatin Remodeling by SWI/SNF using Next Generation Sequencing. - Used Next generation sequencing techniques to manually curate the whole genome of S.cerevisiae for swi2 mutant and Wild-type to identify regions of change, allowing the precise analysis of chromatin structure and the study of protein interactions- used perl scripts and computer programs to group and assemble data for analysis- Lab techniques included: Yeast culture and Chromatin Digest, DNA preparations, Restriction Digest, Gel electrophoresis, Southern blotting, and Primer design

- Analyzed transplant patients cases of Human Leukocyte antigen- Practiced DNA extraction, Polymerase Chain Reaction, Gel - Electrophoresis and Microarray, Practiced the use of RT-PCR machine

- Used the Becton Dickinson FACSCalibur- Analyzed markers in patients samples using CellQuest Pro Computer program to diagnose type of blood cancer- Set up blood and tissue samples using basic molecular diagnostics and identification methods
