Current2002 - current. Stareted as a medical only adjuster, then into our Early -Intervention Department as a loss time claims associate. After 3 years, I was made coordinator. Being coordinator, my duties included determining compensability of all claims, of adjusters under me, licensed in each state that requied a license, keeping up to date with all CEU credits to renew a license, rules and regulations for each state we write a policy, file audits on all adjusters (3 per adjuster, per month) for an estimated if 12 adjuster's. After five years I became part of the Complex Claims Unit in Pennsylvania, Delaware & Illinois. Currently, I am handling a caseload of 147 New York & California claims, to include negotiating settlements for these states to include, utilization review of medical treatment, calculating actusl wages, posture for settlement whether I have cousel assigned, or pro se' applicants, completing all state forms, paying out indemninty. Continous closure is my goal on a daily basis on full & final basis.
