Hello! I'm Dina Rodriguez. I'm a Montclair State University alum with a Bachelors Degree in Family Science and Human Development with a concentration in school settings, and a Masters Degree in Reading. I currently have the privilege of teaching first grade students. My vision is centered around making sure my students leave my classroom in June better than they did when they came in August. I believe in teaching the whole child and share the same sentiment of Dr.King that "intelligence plus character is the goal of true education". My students are motivated learners who place value on collaboration, work ethic, integrity, and having a growth mindset. I aim to encourage each child to be independent and develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and respect for others in the classroom. I empower students to achieve their greatest potential through modeling high expectations. I believe in empowering my students to be leaders. As a result, meaningful relationships are built among all stakeholders to increase student achievement.
