Directly supervised a team of sixteen full and part time staff and interns in the daily maintenance, cleaning and refurbishment of the Museum’s exhibit halls including all artifacts, hands-on interactives and computers. Hired temporary and permanent staff, scheduled staff hours and assignments. Coordinated projects relying on collaboration with other departments. Participated in Museum-wide logistics team for all building event scheduling. Member of exhibit development team for Take a Closer Look and refurbishment team for Science in the Park. Successfully created joint internship with Collections department to address collections issues within operations. Member of Collections Disaster Response Team. Kept existing exhibit databases current and supervised intern charged with creating maintenance manuals for existing exhibits. In addition to many of the duties of the Institute Production Manager (described below): Supervised the opening of the new theater at Zero Arrow Street and its first performances. Supervised the technical, building and theater maintenance of the new theater’s first season. Scheduled all building usage. Hired and supervised labor for ART and booked-in shows. Produced ART sponsored events (readings, lectures, award presentations.) Budgeted and scheduled for future performances. Acted as primary liaison for rental groups. Managed building access, telecommunication, and related equipment. Consulted on technical feasibility of proposed projects and contract technical riders.

Cambridge Ma

Produced six to eight shows per year for the A.RT.’s graduate program, including all hiring of designers, stage managers and technical staff, budgeting and scheduling. Organized all load-ins and load-outs. Scheduled and ran all production-related meetings. Attended faculty meetings. Traveled to Moscow yearly to produce and design a show at the MXAT Theater School. Supervised students while in Moscow and acted as liaison to visiting artists. Supervised class scheduling for the two-year program and coordinated faculty space requests. Participated in long-term planning, equipment maintenance and supervision of stage and production management interns. Drafted and budgeted scenery and props for classroom projects. Wrote all contracts for technical staff. Some set, lighting and sound design. Traveled to NYC yearly to act as technical liaison for student showcase. Taught “Lighting Design for Directors” in 2003.
