I lead creative writing workshops in fiction and memoir for adult writers. Each six-week session draws community participants with varying degrees of writing expertise. The workshop follows a traditional format, where group members critique one another's work under my guidance. I present literature for discussion and assign writing exercises/prompts to complete in class. My overarching goal is to instill respect and compassion in the critique process while helping participants to improve their skills in writing and literary analysis .

As a contract employee, I bring professionalism and a strong work ethic, whether working independently or as a collaborative team member. The scope of my projects include: -Providing developmental editing, line editing, and structural guidance for both short and long-form manuscripts-Researching and writing grant proposals-Researching, writing and editing MAGNET accreditation documentation; -Producing press releases, social media content, and feature articles across varied domains, including: academic medicine, nursing, consumer health, military veterans (PTSD), spirituality, complementary and alternative medicine, hospital chaplaincy, and the arts

Chautauqua Literary Journal Practicum is a joint undergraduate and graduate class. I provide leadership and mentoring for all course requirements, including selection of works, developmental editing, correspondence with authors, design, production, and promotion of this annual print journal.

At CFCC, I designed and facilitated a weekly narrative workshop (StoryForce) for student military veterans. I also planned and promoted two celebratory dinner and reading events for the family and friends of our StoryForce writers.
