I have many years of professional experience in TESOL, ELA, and the Spanish and French languages at the middle school, high school, AP and adult levels. I have been a mentor for new foreign language teachers in NYC Fellows Program; have designed several staff development conferences for department educators including but not limited to: incorporating differentiation in co-operative teaching techniques , analysis of the linguistic patterns in current demographic population which impact on successful teaching of ELA as well as the Spanish language; the use of internet and smart board in the classroom; development of teacher web sites, Web-quest design and team teaching techniques. I have developed cross curricular lessons as a means to gain student interest and mastery of language and subject matter.I have experience with SIFE population.I have attended Region Principals' conferences, participated in Learning Walk with district -wide administrators and was involved with the Pupil Personnel Team for many years.
