I graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Business Administration and major in Marketing. I developed my marketing and sales training with the Ritz Carlton as I worked in the hotel industry as a Sales and Marketing manager for 10 years. This experience prepared me for my next work experience, which was selling high end residential pre constructioncondominiums in South Florida. I was very successful and was recruited to sell one of the largest projects in Delray Beach called the The Seagate Beach Club. The year was 2007 when the real estate market crashed and so as a side job, I started a company called “Click Social Club”. I created and promoted events with local restaurants where people could come and “Click” by making social or professional connections. This opportunity helped me to understand the power of networking and making new connections. My husband had an opportunity to open a furniture store in Austin, TX so we moved our family there to do that. The brick and mortar store went out of business as the economy sputtered and I became a representative for Four Hands, one of the premier furniture importers in the country. While working there, I created an online store called “Custom Furniture World” which sold furniture and accessories. My online store stayed profitable, and I still own and operate it today. Michael passed away in 2015 and we relocated to Orlando, FL to be closer to family and love everything that Orlando has to offer. AboutMy storyA Ruff Day Bark Club is the pet project of “Mompreneur” Dina Janicke, an accomplished mother of two kids, two dogs, and one very cool cat. Dina’s passion for dogs and entrepreneurial background led her to create a unique social club for dogs and their people.Dina’s passion for dogs started in her childhood and continues to today. After years of working in luxury real estate and successfully launching several businesses, Dina realized she and her fellow dog lovers needed a clean and safe environment to meet and mingle with their furry friends. Not overly fond of the traditional dog park, she envisioned a luxury destination for pets and owners that included boarding and daycare done differently. That’s when A Ruff Day Bark Club was born.
