Hello. My name is Dinali Peiris and I am currently an international student from Sri Lanka studying in Japan on a scholarship. As an individual who transitioned from high school to college within a span of a month, I am eager to not only expand my knowledge but also work on personal growth while immersing myself in new experiences and challenges. With a strong work ethic and a passion for learning, I constantly seek opportunities to enhance both my soft and hard skills.Throughout my academic journey, I have demonstrated leadership qualities, having held prominent roles in various spheres. From spearheading initiatives within the school committee to showcasing her prowess on the sports field, particularly in table tennis, basketball, netball, and track and field she has proven her ability to excel in diverse domains.Beyond academics and athletics, I have actively participated in extracurricular activities, including leadership and membership in the choir, drama, oratory, and debates. These experiences have not only enriched my holistic development but also honed my communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities.At university, I have been given leadership roles as a junior staff and have recently been promoted to middle staff to further enhance and enrich my soft and hard skills.
