After years of designing unique creations for myself, I launched Dina Mackney Designs jewelry line and have been selling at wholesale for five years. Since that time, I have developed clients from around the country and now sells my jewelry through boutiques, galleries, trunk shows and top department stores including Neiman Marcus and Neiman Marcus Direct. Dina Mackney's Necklaces, Rings, Bracelets and Earrings have also been featured in "O", The Oprah Magazine, InStyle Magazine, Coastal Living Magazine, Condé Nast Traveler Magazine, The Washington Post, The Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Palm Beach Post and many other prominent publications. The scale of my pieces is born of my personal stylistic perspective on what looks best on my body - the most balanced and in proportion. I always design with this goal in mind – not just what is interesting for art sake, but what will make women look their best and complement their look. As a working mother who has a hand in many different initiatives (school activities, business engagements, philanthropic commitments, and travel), I have naturally geared my line towards versatility so that I can go from school visits to black tie events. This was how our signature opening, hinged bail came to be many years ago. Either for traveling out of town or maneuvering from function to function in town, I found it an easy way to switch looks quickly and get a lot of different looks with just a few pieces.While I reinvent my collections at least ten times a year, it is these same themes that are weaved throughout.
