I joined HostPapa during a pivotal period of growth, taking on a hands-on role in implementing solutions under the guidance of Seniors and Architects. This early experience laid the foundation for my evolution towards more advanced, strategic responsibilities.HostPapa is a rapidly growing and evolving web hosting company, catering to thousands of clients and supporting numerous websites with a diverse and expanding product offering. That growing rapidness comes with a lot of considerations when it comes to development, making it an exciting experience.My proficiency extended across a range of technologies and responsibilities:- Leveraged PHP with versatile frameworks including Silverstripe and WordPress, taking a lead role in maintaining PHP projects.- Cultivated expertise in Angular, modern JavaScript, and TypeScript, while also playing a crucial role in maintaining a key Angular application for the business.- Elevated CD/CI tooling through enhancements in Bitbucket pipelines and later other CD/CI tools, also using Codeception to create a suite of tests for a more robust automated QA experience before and after deployments.- Demonstrated proficiency in Docker for replicating server conditions into local environments, as well as being introduced to AWS and different deployment setups.- Etc.This dynamic environment has fueled my passion for staying at the forefront of our tech stack, surmounting daily challenges, and achieving rewarding outcomes.

Nicaragua

During my time at DreamDevelopment, I operated as a Freelance Software Developer, crafting enterprise-ready products for a diverse array of clients. This included working with notable names such as Mindray, a renowned medical equipment provider, as well as creating web applications for large beauty contests and serving one of the larger religious institutions in Nicaragua.A primary focus was on proposing robust technology stacks that precisely met project requirements, encompassing software architecture. This involved implementing solutions in a scalable, thoroughly tested, and well-documented manner.My toolkit primarily featured PHP and JavaScript, with proficiency in frameworks such as Laravel and front-end development using Vue.js. This experience honed my skills in delivering high-quality, tailor-made solutions to a wide-ranging clientele.
