Current focus on scaling iot pilots into full smart city deployments; essentially transitioning from selling “tech validations” to large scale projects. Responsible for reducing the sales cycle and customer acquisition cost, supporting pre-sales activities to promote projects with good tech fit, trouble-shooting all technical issues in the onboarding and support phase. I work closely with our IoT field engineers, data science team and R&D.

Haldor Topsøe is a Danish manufacturer of heterogeneous catalysts. The position included business development activities in new markets for automotive emission control products, particularly in China and South East Asia. Yearly travel days 80-100days. Besides business development, the main activities were finalizing contracts, making business plans, technical training of sales colleagues in respective markets as well as coordination between HQ and the regional sales offices/representations. From 2014, the work also included activities related to implementing “Challenger Sales” philosophy in the sales process and systematic tracking of sales pipeline development.

In 2012, LiqTech International became a publicly listed company on the New York Stock Exchange.From 2011 I was part of the management group in LiqTech, holding the position as Business Manager for the Emission Technology business. The work in Liqtech now included responsibility for sales, R&D technical services, support and Production; managing seven direct reports.
