Senior Network Engineer
CurrentWork Description and Responsibilities:Hands on experience in Cisco Router ASR 901, ASR 920, ASR 903.Configuring and troubleshooting Layer 3 IP Routing protocols such as Static Routing, Default Routing, OSPF and EIGRP.Configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 switching protocols such as STP, RSTP& MST.Planning & Designing of Transmission Network for Access and Core Network for IP & Ethernet based products.Provisioning of different products such as IPVPN Qos, Ethernet Wire Line.Troubleshoot and fix the issues that arise on the network consisting of Routers, Switches and WLAN devices during the event of implementing and maintenance.Delivering 4G network to London Priority sites for Vodafone using optical fibre.Effective management of third party vendors for circuit delivery like British Telecommunication and Virgin Media.Creating Change request (CRQ) for Network related change in Remedy and coordination with Network change management for approval and assigning engineers to carry out the change.Raising fault ticket with BT or VM using BT fault tool.Perform responsibilities of analyzing network topologies and identifying network performance issues.Comprehensive knowledge on network troubleshooting, monitoring and maintaining remote servers.Technical Skills:Routing Protocols : Static, RIP, OSPF,BGP,EIGRP,Load balancing in RIP and EIGRP.Strong in CCNA, HSRP, VRRP.WAN protocols.Configuration and administration of Cisco routers, switches.Hand on experience in Cisco routers ASR 901, ASR920 and ASR 903.Tools Handled: Cramer - Provisioning and Configuring 4 VLAN using VTP.BMC Remedy-Raising Change Request at the time of Migration.Putty-Test the router reachability.Clarify- Order management and triggering workflow.Amdocs CRM- Creating Order as per customer specification in physical system.
