Data quality checks and validation ofstandards are performed on the loaded data, which will be available for statistical analysis to theBusiness users. DBU acts as centralized Datawarehouse which is used by other business units. The dataflows are split up based on the downstream systems, so that independent business units can acquirethe data for their next process.

Imported the source and target definitions into the Source Analyzer and Warehouse designer. Analyzed and Developed the mappings as per the mapping specification document. Developed mappings involving constraint based load ordering. Developed complex mappings by handling complex logic. Extensively used look up transformations in handling slowly changing dimensions. Performance tuned the mappings. Implemented file list file concept while loading data from similar flat file structures. Prepared and executed Unit test scripts for the developed mappings.Key Projects:ConAgra Foods is a leading chain of restaurants with more than 500 branches in USA. The datawarehouse is developed to analyze Sales and financial data for entire the organization on a periodicalbasis. Data for analysis was received in flat files and then converted to tables in Oracle database usingInformatica tool. Data extracted from flat files are stored in staging area first and then appropriatetransformation logic is applied and loaded into the datamart. In the process of loading the data intothe datamart various transformations like Filter’s, Joiner’s, Look up’s, Update strategy’s, Expression’swere used. Information was provided to the client by generating reports using Business Objectstools.
