1)Project’s supply-cost estimations of mechanical, electrical & civil items using BOMs extracted from Tender Document’s P&IDs, GA drawings and respective specifications, and also estimating consumables and manpower required for the complete project execution.2) Upon award of project, creating the Material Requisitions (MR) for the long-lead items such as Mainline Pumps, Motors, Valves etc., with the support of Engineering Contractor, VALDEL ENGINEERS & CONSTRUCTORS (VEC) in reference to the Tender. Also preparation of engineering model reviews of the stations involving the plot, equipment and station piping.3) Coordinating with VEC for technical compliance of MR documents with the tender documents and inscribing the necessary modifications by making Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) and bringing vendor TQs and VEC comments in-line with the end user/client requirements.4) Post order communications with vendors/suppliers and submission of engineering documents like datasheets and QAP as mentioned in vendor DCI, for approvals from the client EIL/HRRL. 5) Generating BOM, MTO, understanding the technical specifications and floating RFQs to the vendors for Techno-Commercial order finalizations of Long-lead Items: Mainline Pumps and Control Valves (approx. value: Rs.100 crores), to ensure that the deliveries are done within the schedule time, which is 14 months.6)Ensuring the supply of piping bulk items: API grade Pipes, Flanges, Fittings, Gaskets and Motor-Operated Valves. Ensuring that ordered quantity is neither short nor excess, and also ensuring that the supplies are in coherence to the dependent construction activities.7) Planning of consumables and Long Lead item supplies required for project execution and successful completion. Project billing verification and subcontractor billing verifications to ensure proper valuation of the work-done quantity.8) Work progress tracking using DPRs, and ensuring timely project execution and completion using S-Curves and project schedules in MS excel. Also, supplies tracking along with delivery scheduling by using Gantt charts in MS excel of MS office.
