MONTANA SHIPPING AND CHARTERING -MANAGER CHARTERING (From Nov ’09 till date)SHIPPING COMPANYIndependently Heading Operations and Chartering Division Job Profile & Responsibilities:•Working as a competitive ship Broker/Operator/Voyage Planner Handling cargoes like project/steel/ Heavy lift Machinery/RORO and Also give Specific focus on bagged /Bulk Cargoes• Responsible for Complete Vessel Operations Including Negotiations , Drawing fixture recap, and carrying out all post fixture and pre fixture activities including Calculation of Voyage estimate ,lay time and stowage factor .• Regularly Fixing vessels for Heavy machinery/ Project cargoes/, Bagged and ,Bulk Cargo (From 2000Dwt, to Handy Size tonnage)for our Principal Owners and Also Help Out our Senior Management to find Vessel on Time Charter as well from Spot Market .•.Participating in Tender- Cum -Bidding for Power Plant /Steel Structure project from China to India Trade.. Sharing Good Rapport with Charterers as well as Owners at International Level Specially Chinese Owns • Appointing of agents/ sub-agents. Correspondence with owners/ Chatterers / agents for smooth and fast turnaround of the vessels. • Finalizing of Port Disbursements etc.• Reporting to the Director on day-to-day operations/chartering work.• Provide accurate and timely information pertaining to Business Development to Management. Weekly Submitting Sales Report to Management
