Hey there! I'm Dinesh Manoharan, a Senior UI/UX Designer with a pretty cool story. I started from simple beginnings and worked my way up in the design world with a lot of hard work, creativity, and a bit of luck. I got my B.Sc in Visual Communication from St. Joseph's College, and my journey from a student trying to figure things out to becoming a design expert is pretty amazing.The Adventure Starts:After I graduated in 2016 with a solid 93%, I dove into freelancing. Six months in, I joined Optisol Business Solutions and quickly went from a Junior to a Mid-Level UI Designer. I loved the challenge so much that I went back to freelancing for a bit, but then returned to Optisol because they really appreciated my work. There, I led a project that made their website way better and got a lot more people to visit it—18% more in just three months!Growing and Learning:Next, I worked at Applied Materials and Kaay Innovation, where I really got into how big companies and startups use design to innovate. At Kaay, I played a big part in creating Jingle Bid, which later became Columbus, changing the game for getting gadgets.Rolling with the Punches:When I unexpectedly got laid off, I planned to take a three-month break but ended up exploring no-code platforms like Framer and 3D tools like Spline for six months. This wasn’t just a time-out; it set me up for something even bigger.Paying It Forward:All this led me to start the Clan Design community. It’s more than just a place; it's about helping, teaching, and inspiring designers to make their mark in the industry with the newest skills and knowledge.What’s Next:Now, I’m looking for creative opportunities in Chennai that are all about great UI/UX, product design, and mentoring.
