GDATA (Formulation Data Management) :As part of my role as a Software Developer at Asian Paints, I had the opportunity to work on the GDATA project, which focused on the formulation data management for approximately 2203 color shades offered by Asian Paints. The project aimed to improve the existing system by replicating the legacy FOXPRO logic in a modern and stable programming language, Java.1. Developed a Java desktop application to manage formulation data for Asian Paints' 2203 color shades.2. Collaborated with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide user-friendly error messages.3. Streamlined file selection process, enhancing efficiency.4. Implemented standard design patterns for better program structure.5. Implemented data structures to optimize application performance.6. Enhanced UI for improved user experience.Through my contributions to the GDATA project, I successfully modernized the formulation data management process at Asian Paints. Currently, the GDATA application serves as a pivotal tool utilized by R&T teams of Asian Paints.PLM Portal :I led the end-to-end development of the PLM Portal (Plant Lifecycle Management), utilizing cutting-edge technologies for both frontend and backend. The frontend was developed using React, while the backend was powered by Spring, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly experience.To enable seamless data management, I leveraged Oracle as the primary database. Within Oracle, I wrote multiple procedures to streamline data processing and enhance system performance. Additionally, I incorporated SAP as a secondary database, creating specific RFCs to facilitate smooth data integration and ensure widespread accessibility throughout the system.The PLM Portal has become a vital tool for Asian Paints' plant teams and R&T teams. Its successful implementation has optimized plant lifecycle management, improving efficiency and productivity company-wide.
