• Led a JV team to deliver a safe, efficient, and cost-effective exploration drilling program – Deputy General Manager.

• Responsible for all drilling and completion of engineering activities for 10 HPHT (13000 psi/145°C) and HS (i.e., high tectonic stress - reversed fault) shale gas exploration wells in Sichuan, China.

• Unconventional reservoir exploration and development (i.e.CBM, tight sand, shale gas. etc) drilling and completion activities included horizontal, multilateral, ultra-short radius, radial drilling, fit-for-purpose.

• Prepared detailed SoR, BoD, SIMOP, and technical Peer Review documents.
• Prepared the detailed HPHT drilling programs and operational guidelines for Hai Thach and Moc Tinh HPHT development wells (8 casing strings).
• Prepared the detailed tender/contract documents for all major drilling service contracts, i.e., OCTG, Cementing, Casing Accessories, Drilling Fluids, Directional Drilling, Tubular Running, Managed Pressure Drilling.
• Prepared the detailed HPHT drilling programs and operational guidelines for the Moc Tinh Deep HPHT exploration well – the most technical challenge well ever in Vietnam.
• Commissioned and operated one of the world's largest semi-submersible tender-assisted drilling rigs (1st by BP) for the Hai Thach HPHT development wells.

US

• Drilled and completed 1st Phase of 10 ERD wells, including one of the world's longest ERD wells in Sakhalin, Russia.
• Responsible for preparing the final Drilling Design Basis Memorandum and Drilling Programs for the Chayvo ERD wells, over 10,000m horizontal displacement. The DBM includes directional drilling, mud/cement.
• Commissioned the world's largest land rig (10k HPs) – Yastreb Rig, built by Parker Drilling.
• Set a new World Record on the longest ERD well, Z-11, a total MD of 11,282m, using the largest Parker’s Land Rig in the World.
• Prepared a Site Construction Plan considering surface constraints such as local population, logistics, environmental impact, archaeological surveys, conductor driving, and rig commissioning.
• Prepared a Drilling and Production Testing Program based on all available geologic and drilling information from nearby offset wells in the area.

US

• Responsible for the Supplemental Procedures for all major drilling and completion operations for the Nakhchivan-1 offshore exploration well (700+m water depth, ten casing strings) in the South Caspian Sea with active.
• Provided rig site technical assistance in abnormal pressure detection, running and cementing critical casing strings/liners, production testing operations, and well control.
• Provided surveillance of day-to-day drilling progress to ensure that the Drilling and Evaluation program was conducted to apply the best available technology and proposed modification, as necessary.
• Prepared AFEs and monitored well costs to ensure all costs were kept up-to-date and accurate.
• Prepared the End of Well Reports and documented Lessons Learnt for future wells.
• Trained and mentored young Azeri engineers.
