I am a PhD neuroscientist working at Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience (MPFI). I study the neural mechanism of episodic memory, with a focus on how internally generated sequences in the hippocampus work to establish, consolidate and help retrieve memories.I have been working in the field of memory research over the past 5 years, with experiences in whole-cell patch clamp, behavioural training, as well as molecular experiments such as Western blotting and PCR. I have worked in the Paulsen Group at University of Cambridge and the Fisher Group at UCL, and am currently in the Wang Group at MPFI.Partially due to my research and partially due to personal interests, I have been coding for the past 4 years, working mainly with Python and C, but am learning some basic Rust. For my research I mostly code in Python and to a smaller extent MATLAB, with C being used when doing personal Arduino projects.
