I currently practice law with a focus on reimbursement and regulatory issues for health care clients, although I also practice in other areas of administrative law, including governmental contracting and procurement issues. I am experienced in addressing issues before the Maine Legislature in addition to representing my clients extensively before various government agencies and in appeals to the state and federal courts. I expect to continue this work and also seek to deepen my involvement in public interest and social justice advocacy. I also have a growing interest in the issue of law firm privacy and security issues pertaining to networked computing systems and electronic communications.Areas of practice in which I have significant experience or concentration: health care law and policy, administrative law, government procurement and contracting law, appellate advocacy, economic regulation and its legal implications. I have in the past also concentrated and continue to have an interest in telecommunications and energy issues from a regulatory perspective.
