• Review/audit and release commercial inspections for SCM’s customers to ensure that the report conforms to: National Codes (NFPA, OBC, OFC, etc.) International Standards (ISO, CSA, ULC, etc.) Specific Client requirements• Conduct training to recently hired Loss Control Coordinators trainees where job shadowing may be applicable. Helped provide company-wide training pertaining to common hazards, fire protection, building construction types and special hazards.• Managed the entire Ontario inspection staff (30+ commercial inspectors) on an intern basis. This required: Managing Monthly budget expectation (SLA’s, Monthly targets, etc.) Providing training and feedback to inspectors regarding their inspections Attending sales meetings with clients (provided technical knowledge on our products and staff)• Revitalized RMS’s relationship with key general insurers regarding RMS’s Risk management services, inspections, building evaluations and improved customer service.• Helped developed new products for RMS’s list of services provided to their customer’s (Fleet/auto inspections, Farm inspections, etc.)• Complete Custom commercial inspection for key customers on a priority basis due to the complexity, size and the type of operations being conducted

• Conduct inspections of DCGI commercial, industrial and fleet risks to confirm and assess compliance with: Ontario Building Code (OBC), Ontario Fire Code (OFC), All applicable N.F.P.A standards, Security/theft control, Liability Loss Prevention, Risk Management• Typical risks inspected include: Manufacturing operations, Contractors, High rise residential buildings, Highly protected risks• Special hazards and common hazard assessment to confirm they are in compliance with DCGI guidelines, N.F.P.A. standard, OBC, OFC, local by-laws and local jurisdictions by exercising quasi-judicial powers• Fleet inspections are conducted to confirm that the insured is in compliance with the Ministry of Transportation (M.T.O.) regulations.• Responsible for arranging inspection times with the insured after which a thorough property survey and interview is conducted. All work is conducted autonomous and with minimal supervision.• Complete extensive reports which describe the insured’s operations, deficiencies and liability issues (operations liability, completed operations liability, products liability and premises liability) rendering written decisions based on established standards. • Determine if a risk is ideal for DCGI to continue to insure due to the findings of an inspection. Will communicate with the underwriter and appropriate managers to advise of any action needed immediately.• Issuing letters, notices and penalties are provided to the insured (in form of recommendation letters) and to the underwriting team to minimize any exposure for a loss on all risks inspected.• Conduct training (educational seminars, “lunch and learn”, etc) to recently hired Loss Control Coordinators trainees.• Post inspection evaluation (re-inspection) confirmation of compliance with alleged violations
