The technical department in GE MONEY would co-ordinate with various internal clients for gathering requirements. The internal clients consisted of Auto insurance, Health care insurance, Life insurance, Property insurance, Travel insurance, etc.The various GE businesses report their risk data and consolidates all this data and reports out to the senior management for analysis and decision making. The REM (Risk exposure management) Data Validation Tool (DVT) facilitates the data collection and verification processes. DVT is used by the GE Capital businesses to submit their customer transaction files, to populate the Global Risk Management Data Warehouse.Roles and Responsibilities:  Working as an ETL Developer involved in creating mappings, mapplets, reusable transformations using Informatica power center Designer. Developing mapping for Slowly Changing Dimensions-1(SCD1), Slowly Changing Dimensions-2(SCD2) & Slowly Changing Dimensions-3(SCD3).  Utilizing different transformations, mapping parameters & variables, different tasks, different links between different tasks. Creating sessions, tasks, worklets and workflows using Informatica workflow Designer. Mainly involved in ETL developing, Maintenance. Understanding existing system and customer requirements. Analysis of the specifications provided by the clients.
