Dino Corera is an actor, stand-up comedian, voicing artist, host and former Radio personality with theatrical and broadcast experience spanning over 10 years. He currently heads 'Layup', an award winning startup specializing in optimizing corporate training engagement. Dino is also a YouTube personality who together with Gehan Blok co founded 'Blok & Dino', a channel specializing in content marketing which has partnered with some of Sri Lanka's leading brands.As an actor he has portrayed the roles ‘Marius’ in 'Les Miserables' and ‘Annas’ in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' presented by the Workshop Players. Credits further include 'Bengal Bungalow' and 'Stormy Weather' by Centrestage productions, 'And Then There Were None' with Cold Theatre Seven, 'Glengarry Glen Ross' and 'The Irish Curse' presented by Identities Inc. He was cast in multiple roles in the 'Pusswedilla' franchise, Jean Paul Satre’s 'Men Without Shadows' and Duncan McMillan’s critically acclaimed two actor performance 'Lungs' presented by Stage Light and Magic. Dino has worked extensively with the Grassrooted trust with 'V-day' a project that endeavors to shed light and awareness about gender equality and violence against women. He represented Sri Lanka at the second largest theatre festival in the world ‘Bharat Rang Mahotsav’ in India as part of the Centrestage productions ensemble presenting 'Pyramus and Thisby', an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s 'Midsummer Night’s Dream'.Dino hosts the morning show and is the former channel head for 99.2 TNL Radio and was responsible for strategy, operations and growth for the channel. He was also the head of digital media at TNL Radio network and was instrumental in defining the digital roadmap for all three stations. Dino also hosts events for a broad spectrum of brands and corporates on a regular basis and is also a stand up comedian and part of the popular 'Freddy' ensemble with the distinct reputation of introducing original local stand up to audiences in Colombo.
