Dino's law enforcement career began in 1989 with the Streamwood Police Department as a police cadet; he was sworn in as a police officer in 1991 and proudly served in many positions, including school resource officer, crime prevention, gang tactical investigations, and police patrol Sergeant, retiring in 2018.An authentic and experienced police professional with a committed desire to continually improve the department and self with proven servant leadership and risk management skills in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating. Experience includes Spanish fluency, corporate security executive protection team member for national and international celebrities and dignitaries with a professional designation in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (C.P.T.E.D.) from the National Institute of Crime Prevention.Dino is an active member and President of the Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers (www.fcpo.org ) Elgin Chapter#75, Knights of the Cross.
