My background is in the telecommunications field, where I worked in different C-level management positions for four national telecom providers (Digital Cable Systems, UPC Romania, Astral Telecom and CableVision of Romania), for two national incumbents (Telekom in Romania and Bell Nexxia in Canada) as well as for the Romanian Government (State Secretary with the Romanian Ministry of IT&Communications). My responsibilities grew in these organizations while building and managing long-term corporate-governance-based relationships with all stakeholders: Board members, customers, employees and key suppliers. Along the years my responsibilities included General Management, strategic business development, building operations and sales as well as developing new organizational capabilities in main operational fields while supporting the organizations to rapidly grow as major market players. With a MScEE in Telecommunications and a Marketing/Strategy EMBA, my extensive background in General Management includes: establishing strategic core differentiation and winning market strategies; applying organizational re-engineering by turning companies into client-centered ones; organization reshaping and innovation based on customer-oriented initiatives, a.o.Each C-level Management position offered me a different perspective in personal development and the proper foundation for successfully running large operations in competitive environments. Each one of these positions, due to their challenges and complexity, made me step up on the professional ladder while adding new competencies based on unique experiences. All these competencies and capabilities I consider to be transferable to any General Management executive role in order to deliver significant achievements in due time.
