Manufacturing Advancement EuropeProvide technical direction, analysis and project management support for implementation and improvement technologies at our bearing plants within the region and assist as needed for project outside the regionResponsabilities: - Capital Projects - support capital investment efforts related to business growth initiatives within the region. Requires ARs creation, business case analysis, tracking/forecasting of project spending and resource planning - Product/Process Rationalization - perform manufacturing process benchmarking analyses and manufacturing cost comparisons across the plants - Project Management - project and resource planning , assist in the implementation of corrective actions - Continuous Improvement - provide technical advice to increase throughput, improve quality/process capability, reduce costs, enhance safety, etc.- Technology Transformation - facilitate implementation of newly developed processes working with other corporate groups (R&D, Quality Advancement, Design Engineering, etc)

- Oversaw finishing operations across the plant, identified process improvements focusing on cycle time optimization and operatives training enhancement, improved line feedback accuracy and performance visibility- Asset leader for face grinding & honing machines on a new manufacturing line to expand the plant portfolio- Leading $360k investment in a continuous improvement project to reduce abrasives costs and improve lines output- TMOS certified - internal lean manufacturing system- Leading several management of change projects to improve part manufacturability, reduce scrap and/or downtime- Core team member for lean manufacturing tools development and implementation

Area of activity: FINISHING- Responsible for process definition, machines capability testing and installation in the plant (Greenfield)- Responsible for SOP development and implementation (Setup, Equipment Operation, Process Control, Process & Product Quality, Product Inspection, Maintenance , Troubleshooting & Standard Work Instructions)- Development and implementation of engineering grinding/honing models- Core team member for PFMEA development and NPI- Monitors the process stability, capability and effectiveness

- Responsible for full package documentation creation (3D modeling, laser cutting, bending and machining plans) required for prototypes and series models- 3D Modeling using Pro Engineer & Draftsight (2D drawings);- Validation testing for new design concepts.- Technical support for the assembly teams.

- Completed design projects for US and Romania plants; - Completed part modification tasks and created new parts by using CAD software (Pro Engineer);- Maintained databases such SAP and internal databases.- Audited bearings evolution on the workflow and created project plans which were presented in the weekly NPI meeting.
