Sri Lanka Student Activities Committee (SLSAC) is the committee responsible for student programs and benefits, and making recommendations to the IEEE Sri Lanka Section regarding the student volunteers. It is filled with IEEE volunteers, and supported by IEEE Sri Lanka Section. The Member Activities Sub-Committee is responsible for organizing/initiating activities to IEEE membership on member engagement, member recruitment and networking. Mainly IEEE Sri Lanka Section Student/YP/WIE Congress, IEEE Boost and IEEE Adaheraya is under the major responsibility.

The IEEE SL SYW Congress 2023, the flagship event of IEEE Sri Lanka Section, along with the IEEE Sri Lanka Section Signal Processing Society Chapter Member Driven Summit 2023, was held at the Carolina Beach Hotel from the 3rd to 5th of November 2023 The event was filled with a multitude of sessions and events that highlighted collaboration ,networking, and innovation and had a great time engaging with the sessions, stalls, and outbound activities during time at the Congress'23, with the stunning beaches of Chilaw as the backdrop

I worked within the WSO2 Identity Access Management (IAM) Team, contributing to a project associated with the Asgardeo Platform Engineering Team. Over my 6-month internship, I had the opportunity to explore numerous innovative software engineering technologies.

IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter Student Activities is responsible for student chapters, student programs and benefits, and making recommendations to the IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter regarding the student volunteers. It is filled with IEEE student volunteers and supported by the IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter. These volunteer members provide important viewpoints and information, assist activities conducted in the Sri Lanka Chapter and represent the voice of all Computer Society students members.

The IEEE CS Student / Young Professional Global Congress gathered in Sri Lanka for the largest youth tech conference yet! Nearly 500 tech intellects from across the globe gathered to engage in three days of learning, networking, and collaboration

IEEE open day is the annual IEEE awareness day and Recruitment for thenewbies of the university of Moratuwa organized by the IEEE Student Branch,University of Moratuwa.Bringing together the enthusiastic young community and guiding them todevelop their skills and talents through various volunteering experiences isour goal.There are special events which turn the heads of newbies and give them achance to win valuable prizes.Through a bunch of activities, including special guest lectures, fun activities,and skills development workshops, we expect to give a better understandingof IEEE for the newbies and to make this magnificent event a memorable one

RISEUP MORA 2021, which was held from 6th to 21st March 2021 created a worthwhile opportunity for the undergraduate community towards stepping into their dream career. The phase 1 Webinar on “How to make a job-winning resume” was held on 6th March 2021 where Eng. Zahra Marzook was the guest speaker. Over 250 undergraduates from Sri Lanka participated in the session and they were guided on the art of writing a top-notch resume. Phase 2 Webinar on “How to excel in an interview” was held on 13th March 2021 with more than 200 attendees. The guest speaker was Ms. Rovina Vandersay and tips of creating a lasting impression upon the employer was remarked. The last phase of RiseUp Mora took place on 20th March 2021. 26 leading companies allied with almost every discipline of engineering in the country collaborated, and over 250 mock interviews were held.
