As President of the official student body at the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, University of Peradeniya, I led a transformative journey marked by resilience, collaboration, and achievement.✨ Highlights:* Successfully transitioned our society from virtual to physical setups after the COVID-19 pandemic period, overcoming initial hurdles in student engagement and awareness.*Spearheaded over 25 events, including refurbishing our EEES Room, producing a captivating department introduction video, printing department official merch, and organizing insightful tech talks in partnership with Synopsys.*Executed 8 major events, such as field visits, social events like "Dharawa", Open-Day departmental exhibition, department pitching at Techno 2023, Pre-engineering program, EEERaPS, Career Fair, and Launching new EEES website.(https://eees-uop.edu.lk)*Introduced pioneering initiatives like "Dharawa" and career fairs, bridging subcultural divides and providing invaluable networking opportunities for members.*Demonstrated adept leadership and teamwork, guiding our team to success and creating a vibrant and inclusive environment for all.
