Refriango is the beverage unit business within Wayfield Group. The company has developed leader brands within Angola market for the past 10 years.As a Brand Manager for the carbonated soft drinks (sodas and energetics) my demands are, to plan, organize, develop and control the activities within the brands guidelines: develop and implement the marketing plan, define and control the yearly budget, to work closely with cross functional team members (Sales, Trade Mkt, Finance, R&D, Operations, agency partners, etc.) to ensure system alignment and a perfect brand route to market strategy.

Developing business opportunities within the UK market (dairy products).

Working as Sonae (portuguese leading retailer) local partner, my role was to manage the yogurts assortment, under Continente umbrella.With a 360 business perspective, since the marketing point of view - identifying new opportunities (innovation and competitors), a straight connection with R&D and opperations to ensure the best product solution to the client&costumer as well an inter demand - industrial sensibility (plants efficiency).

Following the acquisition of Artiach company by Nutrexpa, I became responsible for product management of well known brands such as Filipinos, Chiquilin and Dinosaurus (in addition to the brands mentioned below).

Key Brands: Cola Cao and Honey GSFI report to the company’s country manager and my main responsibilities at this position are (i) managing notorious brands and their position in the market, notably Cola Cao (the second player in the market for chocolate powder), Mel Granja São Francisco (honey product) and Phoskitos (pastries), (ii) developing, implementing and controlling the marketing plan for such brands, which includes a thorough market analysis of the products (AC Nielsen) and carrying out all necessary ad hoc studies in connection with the development of the referred brands. This position also entails (iii) the management of P&L, controlling of marketing budget, monitoring stocks, sales forecast and assisting the sales team on their day to day business.

At this position my main responsibilities were assisting the Senior Brand Manager, carrying out Sales analysis and monitoring market shares, prices and competition activity. I was also in charge of assisting in the execution and control of all actions regarding the development of the company’s brands, notably the Martini Vermouth brand and Sparkling wines.
