• Responsible for all aspects of financial control for this global manufacturing division• Manufacturing facilities in Canada, US, Germany and China.• Performance management and coaching of 21 finance staff members in remote locations (3 direct,/18 indirect).• Key management team member responsible for setting annual Strategic and Business Plans.• Responsible for monthly Sales/Earnings forecast including a detailed sales forecast by Region.• Review large contracts (warranty, performance criteria, payment terms, etc) to mitigate risks.• Monthly results reporting including closing 5 legal entities and consolidation thereof.• Present monthly Operations and KPI review to all Senior Sales Product Management and Operations staff.• Responsible for setting Standard Costs, Transfer Pricing, and Cost Sharing Allocations. • Large focus on credit collections due to high-risk countries in which we sell.• FX accounting of USD, EUR, RMB, currencies into CAD.• Responsible for Working Capital, Free Cash Flow, and justification of CAPEX programs Accomplishments:- Implemented global monthly CAPEX forecast model.- Implemented IFRS15 (Revenue) and IFRS16 (Lease Accounting) into our Global business proces- Executive member providing guidance and support in the relocation of our China facility including lease term negotiation and business case justification - Created Operational Dashboard reporting to highlight Income and Balance Sheet KPIs

• Responsible for all aspects of financial control for this global manufacturing division with sales in 70+ countries and operations in Canada, US, SA, UK, UAE, China, and Singapore.• Performance management and coaching of 11 finance staff members in remote locations.• Key management team member responsible for setting annual Strategic and Business Plans.• Responsible for monthly Sales/Earnings forecast including a detailed sales forecast by Region.• Review large contracts (warranty, performance criteria, payment terms, etc) to mitigate risks.• Monthly results reporting including closing 3 legal entities and consolidation thereof.• Presentation of monthly Operations and KPI review to all Senior Management.• Responsible for setting Standard Costs, Transfer Pricing, and Cost Sharing Allocations. • Large focus on credit collections due to high-risk countries in which we sell.• FX accounting of USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, SGD currencies into CAD.• Responsible for Working Capital, Free Cash Flow, and justification of CAPEX programs Accomplishments:- Created a Bulgarian Branch operation to execute a large offshore sub-contract.- Consolidated German business unit into UK operation resulting in a 7% tax rate reduction.- Assisted in the hive-up of UK entity into a single ShawCor entity for tax filing efficiencies.- Chairman for the implementation of a new MRP system worldwide including setting direction for IT, Accounting and Operations on policies and procedures. - Implemented a USD and EUR cashflow hedge program with Corporate to save nearly $1m.- Implemented an Insurance program with EDC for Saudi based sales to mitigate risk.- Implemented many internal control improvements in the areas of Inventory Management, Fixed Assets, Credit Control, and Balance Sheet reconciliations.- Redesigned and implemented a new Management Incentive Program.- Implemented a complete Bill 198 Internal Control program to ensure compliance with corporate requirements.

Provided financial support for the corporate Sales & Marketing functions.• Member of cross-functional team established to revamp how the Bank views markets and values customers through the development of a Client Relationship Management system. • Create budgets and forecasts for Business Unit including monthly results and variance analysis.Accomplishments:- Implemented a new compensation model for Financial Advisors that was designed to improve selling motivation.

Manager-Mergers and Acquisitions Aug/97 - Jul/98• Worked in a pool concept where potential mergers, acquisitions, divestitures or joint ventures were assessed. • Acted as liaison between various corporate functions, and the Lines of Business.• Assisted in the reorganization of a French joint venture offering financial modeling expertise for price negotiations.• Advisor for the acquisition of a 33% equity investment in an Australian manufacturer. • Key advisor on the divestiture of a $300M multi-location manufacturing division. Manager - Global Treasury Planning – Mississauga Jan/96 – Jul/97• Implemented a Global Treasury database supporting users in Canada, US, UK, and Singapore. • Developed a Global Cash Flow Forecasting process including monitoring of global cash balances on a weekly basis for effective balance sheet and equity ratio management.• Established the corporate Budget FX rates, economic indicators and weighted cost of capital. Sr Financial Analyst – Switching Division – Brampton Jul/94 – Dec/95• Re-established a monthly close and reporting process that had broken down. • Redesigned a monthly reporting package to line management including spending reports, headcount analysis, labour and price variance analysis, volume analysis, etc.• Responsible for setting standard repair costs for repair centers in 3 N.A. locations.Sr Financial Analyst - Logistics Division – Milton Jan/93 – Jun/94• Controller for the Canadian Distribution center responsible for all aspects of finance and control. • Managed 5 direct reports involving completion of annual performance reviews.Financial Analyst - Terminals Division – London Dec/91 – Dec/92• Involved with budgets, forecasting and monthly results reporting.
