Recording and producing tracks is a passion and an ambition of mine. After starting my degree at SAE I have been able to use state of the art studios to try to turn my passion into an attainable goal. By having these amazing studios at my disposal means that I can concentrate on being able to produce some very well made tunes with some amazing local up and coming artists. In this portfolio I will have a few tracks I have produced (along with others) that helps showcase my talents and proves that I have what it takes to excel in the audio scene in Melbourne. I understand that finding a job in the audio industry can be extremely difficult but with the use of this ePortfolio, I really hope that it will help fast track me through the long and arduous process.I started my Bachelor in 2012 and after a couple of years of pain and gain, I now know the fundamental basics of recording and producing acoustic music, with no digital clipping and beautifully crisp audio. SAE allows their students to learn by doing. Most of our classes are in a studio or computer lab where we learn the ins and outs of the computer program Pro Tools and the mixing consoles (Eurodesk or Tascam 4800).With a couple more years of study to go I believe that I have so much more to offer. But, with the knowledge I have currently, I believe that the tracks I produce and record, are of a very high standard, which obviously will only get higher with more learning and practice. Not only have I learnt the basics of recording and producing audio tracks in a studio, but I am also knowledgable in the area of logo design and album cover design. On of my subjects early on in my degree taught us the introductory basics to help us create our own cover art and try to keep everything we need to do, in-house which will help us learn to do everything ourselves without trying to out source.
Listed skills include Recording, Producing, Sound, Pro Tools, and 9 others.
