Whys Advice hosts interactive workshops and engagements for teens to socially develop in areas lost by a tech dependent society. Our goal is to cultivate self-awareness in teens and instill the courage to be oneself while navigating the complexities of social dynamics. Founded by Diona Webb, affectionately known as Auntie D, she is a social butterfly that infuses fresh perspectives into teen development. With a unique ability to impart wisdom to teens in a way they are “surprisingly open and receptive to”, she guides and ensures that every teenager we serve leaves with a newfound respect for themselves and the world, ready to tackle life's social intricacies. Our target audience spans high school freshmen through seniors, aiming to elevate their confidence and self-awareness. Currently based in the vibrant Kansas City region, we aspire to extend our reach regionally, nationally, and beyond.Our workshops are carefully designed to cater to the dynamic needs of teens, blending one-time events and multi-day workshops based on tailored modules. We firmly believe in the power of in-person engagements, though we offer the flexibility of online workshops when necessary.
